Avoid alcohol completely if possible

If one still wants to drink, take no more than 6-7 standard drinks per week.

One standard drink (10g of pure alcohol) = 30 ml whisky, 330ml beer, 150 ml wine.

Women are much more affected.

No difference in the type of alcohol (the actual proof of alcohol matters). Binge drinking is worse.
