The following terms and conditions apply to all services provided by Liver.Care. Hereafter, us shall mean Liver.Care. which expression shall, unless it be repugnant to the context or meaning thereof, be deemed to mean and include all its successors, affiliates and permitted assigns.

General information

  • Patients requesting this service must be 18 years of age or older. For minors and the disabled, parents or legal guardian must make the request.
  • The processing fee is towards the physician cost and operational costs of collecting data, presenting it to our physician, providing medical advice and following-up with the patients.
  • If the documentation received is not sufficient to make an assessment, a case manager from Liver.Care. will follow up with the patient or his/her legal guardian to request additional information.

Consultative Service

The service provided herein remotely is different from the diagnostic services typically provided by a physician. Our physicians providing this service will not have the benefit of information that would be obtained by examining you in person and observing your physical condition.

Therefore, the physician may not be aware of facts or information that would affect his or her opinion of your diagnosis. This is a limitation on the accuracy of his or her opinion. By deciding to engage this service, you acknowledge and agree that you are aware of this limitation and agree to assume the risk of this limitation. You may choose to share the recommendations of the Liver.Care. physician with your treating physician. You shall not use the reports provided under this Service for your self-treatment or take a decision for your line treatment or discontinuation of any ongoing treatment. Any and all decision related to your treatment and medical condition shall be taken by your treating doctor alone.

Your participation in this program will be considered to be an acceptance of the following:

  • Medical Expert Opinion is not intended to replace a full medical evaluation or a face-to-face consultation with a physician.
  • Liver.Care. physician does not have important information that is usually obtained through a physical examination.
  • The absence of a physical examination may affect the Liver.Care. physician's ability to diagnose your condition, disease or injury.
  • You are, out of your own will and volition sharing your medical history and related information to Liver.Care., and you undertake to indemnify and hold harmless Liver.Care., its physicians, consultants, employees, agents and representatives from any and all claims that may arise as a result of the use of the information shared by you in the manner provided for herein.
  • You also consent to permit Liver.Care. to use the information shared by you, in a de-identified form for research purposes.
  • Information and records provided by you for providing expert opinion are accurate, complete and latest.

Privacy policy and disclaimer

All health and health-related information provided by Liver.Care is intended to be general in nature and should not be used as a substitute to visit a healthcare professional. The advice is intended to offer only a general basis for individuals to discuss their medical condition with their healthcare provider. Your healthcare provider / treating doctor should be consulted regarding matters concerning the medical condition, treatment and needs of you and your family.
